Sexual Orientation: Straight

Hobbies: Creative Writing,  Bodybuilding, Avid Reader.  I enjoy Chess, Scrabble, and playing cards.

Dreams and/or Wishes: To meet and become friends (first) with a woman whose enthusiastic about life, love, and living.  Ultimately I'd like to get married, become a father, create an organization that promotes healthy living and progressive and realistic lifestyle opportunities for young adults.

A bit about yourself you'd like the pen pals to know: Personally I don't subscribe to coincidence.  I believe every encounter is an opportunity for a lesson to be learned or taught.  So I've completed and continue to participate in a number of academic, vocational, and therapeutic programs for my personal growth and development.  I hope to be better equipped to enrich the lives of those "I" encounter.  I am intelligent and ambitious.  I value education and family.  I dislike deceitfulness and procrastination.  I have an entrepreneurial spirit.  I like to smile and I have a great sense of humor.  I do not have any children, never married, and never used drugs or alcohol.   Non-smoker and disease free.  Now if your thinking what am I doing in a place like this, I'll suffice to say:  There may come a time when 'you' realize life isn't always fair.  You may not always get what you think you deserve and sometimes bad things happen to unsuspected good people.  Never the less, I'm not a saint.  As a young teenager I just lacked a true sense of direction.  I made some bad choices.  We all do.  Some just pay more dearly than others.  Yet I seek not sympathy nor will anger or bitterness serve me.  Today is the first day of the rest of my life.  I see a bright and productive future ahead of me.  Sure, at the moment I am bound physically but mentally and spiritually I soar.  Perhaps freer than most.  Will you come fly with me?

Laughter Happily Ever After

Visual objects

Turn into a smiling face

Your pretty face

On days I aimlessly gaze.

I feel you

On me

Getting through to me

In the suns penetrating rays.

And see you

Clearly

In puddles on

Dreary

Rainy Days.

During sun showers

You appear to be

Sprinkling humor

Through wild flowers

I hear your laughter.

Repose in the shade

Head raised

(I see)

A majestic and pussy cloud

Form jokes

& love notes

Humbly my head is bowed

In my prayer

You're always there

The day I'll stand proud

Exchanging

Rings and

Holy vows

I do's

Before the invited crowd

I'll marry you!

I Hope You're Listening?

"OVER HERE. . .OVER HERE"

I want you to reach out your hand

From the dark places of your life

I'll search until I find it

I'll listen

Until the heart whispers

"Over Here. . .Over Here. . ."

I don't need eyes to see

I have vision

I perceive other hearts

In the dark

Whispering

"Over Here. . . Over Here. . ."

We all have

Dark clouds

In our lives

But the

Silver lining

That lines them

Are reflections

Of our

Indomitable spirit

Behind them.

We won't be obscured

Or overshadowed

We are hearts

In the dark

Full of light

Love

And sight.

If you're the one searching

Then I'm the one reaching

Because my hearts whispering;

I hope you're listening

"Over Here. . . Over Here. . ."

Role Models

At one point I thought it was due to my dysfunctional

upbringing that I had no role models to emulate as a child or

teenager.  I now reason that there truly were no models for me to

follow that could have shown me my role in life.  I believe I have

(we all have) a unique purpose in the Creator's design of existence.

Even if there are encounters on life's hi-ways and bye-ways.

no two embraces are identical in step and reach.

We are the models of our own roles.  When we look to cast

ourselves in the roles of others we are out of character.

Certainly you may see a sense of direction by the light of

exemplary models.  However, like traffic lights you shall continue

on pass them in route to your own destination.
