Michael Burts

Michael Burts is our new Chief Executive Administrator as well as the person who purchased the domain name http://www.reachingbeyondthewalls.com/ so now we can have the real name. Michael is extremely ambitious and has helped so much in a short time. I am certain he will be doing so much for our members and in the upkeep and improvement of our site. Available has done some questionnaires but more importantly Available sends out all of the new information, including the questionnaire for the members to fill out and return, when we receive requests for more information. She handles all new information requests.

Available has done a little bit of everything, from questionnaires, to answering letters, to sending cards during the holidays, to printing emails, to helping with the newsletter. Sue continues to help out wherever I need help the most.

The birthday lady... Available sends out birthday cards to the inmates each and every month so that each of our members knows we care and can get something on their special days. This means so much to our members. I hope to always continue doing this.

Available has went on vacation from her computer so she will not be editing for an unspecified amount of time. If you'd like to help in her absence please email me. Available is now our official Editor. She will do a complete and thorough check of the entire site - index by index, page by page to look for mistakes and such. Searching out all birthdays (so that we make sure we have them all in our database), reporting all missing links, mistakes, changes that need to be done, grammatical, spelling and other errors to be fixed. She is also going to do this sort of check on all the new people added and ensure that the site is accurate and up to date. She will also from time to time check with the individual Department of Corrections (those with an inmate search available) to ensure that our members are still in prison or that their address is current. This will be a work in progress the entire time the site is running. This is an integral part of keeping Reaching Beyond the Walls current and running smooth!

There are also many, many, many people who helped during the holidays to send out Thanksgiving, Christmas and holiday cards to our members. Thank you all for helping ensure our members aren't forgotten on special occasions. I appreciate each and every one of you and every thing you've done for Reaching Beyond the Walls. If I have forgotten anyone I am sorry bare with me, chances are you know me and know how scatter brained I am. Thank you all for your help.
