A bit about yourself you'd like the pen pals to know: Plenty of incarcerated men including myself have learned from the horror and tragedy that have brought us here. I have learned more about myself, relationships, and life in the 10 years I have been locked up than the 29 that I was free. I look in the mirror and I find I'm proud of the man I have become. Do I wish I could take back my crime? Yes! But who doesn't have regrets. I have learned from my past and I look forward to the future, but I realise that the most important moment of my life is right now. The decisions I make today determine who I am. That is why the gift of this moment is called the present. I do not reach from behind these walls for packages, money, or even visits. My soul purpose is to surround myself with as much positive influence as possible. To connect and build relationships with people who can help me mentally prepare myself for my return to society.
