A bit about yourself you'd like the pen pals to know: Hello to everyone out there in cyberspace! :-) My name is Rashad and I'm looking for that "special someone". Someone that is sincere, honest, trustworthy, and loyal. Interested in friendship, romance, or just plain communication. Being incarcerated is not only hard physically, but both mentally and emotionally. I'd like to communicate with someone openly and honestly about life, love, and the pursuit of happiness. If your out there, I need to hear from you! Let me tell you a little bit about one. Hopefully you like what you read and decide you'd like get to know me? I don't smoke and drink occasionally. I am college educated in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, and Culinary Arts. I enjoy literature, art, and films. I love music (all kinds). I was born and raised in the Midwest and I love the outdoors, swimming, fishing, snow skiing. I speak a little Spanish and French. I also write poetry. I love to travel, I am fun loving, adventurous, and romantic. I am a good listener and have a generous heart. I'm incarcerated for money laundering, bank fraud, and fraudulent schemes (racketeering). I'm on the tail end of my sentence, take a chance and get to know me and I won't disappoint you. Feel free to ask anything you want. Communication is the key! I will respond to all.
DayDream
Being apart from you is even harder
Than I thought it would be,
I try to be logical and tell myself
That it won't be forever, but that's
Not much comfort.
When I really need to touch you,
And kiss you and love you,
Sometimes I close my eyes and hold
A picture of you in my mind
I imagine all the things I'd say
If I only had you here
But no matter how beautiful
The picture is, it will never compare
To the real thing, looking into your eyes
Whispering your name, kissing those lips
I miss you so much
I can't wait for the day that this comes
To an end
And start holding you in my arms again.
Who's Really Who
Being in jail is like rolling the dice,
Waiting for letters that nobody writes.
It's waiting for visits that never take place
From so called friends who have forgotten your face.
It's wondering how time can go by so slow
And having your prayers answered with only a no.
And waiting for photo's that nobody sends,
It's sitting around with nothing to do except
Finding out who's really who.
