Seeking: Female But Open To All
Hobbies: Poetry, Art, Basketball, Leather Works, Camping, Sports, Building Houses, or other Building Projects
Dreams and/or Wishes: To be home so I can spend time with my mom, sister, and kids.
A bit about yourself you'd like the pen pals to know: I have 2 children. A boy and a girl. 4 and 6 years old. I am outgoing and also love to travel. I seem to be always on the go, but I love my at home time. I hope to meet a female to develop a good friendship with. I'm from the Dallas / Ft. Worth area. I am a Christian, and look forward to finding a good church home, and being involved in a church family. I am up for parole in April 2005, but its hard to make parole in TX. I could be set off from one year up until my long way release date in 2009. I do hope to be home soon. I love to read many books. I also read a lot of magazines to stay current on what's going on in the world. I'm looking for a friend who wants to share their thoughts, time, and life with me. As through letters you will learn much about me. I will answer all mail regardless of content, and where it from. If you email, please give me time to answer as it will take longer since RBTW has to print and mail it to me. RBTW prints and mails emails once per month. If you want a poem wrote, just let me know, and tell me what about, whom for, why, and I will get you a poem from me ASAP. Thank you for considering writing me, and I hope to hear from you very soon.
A father anyone can be
but a Daddy is someone special
A father is what I'll always be
to be a Daddy is what I wish for
Some say it is too late
although that would be true
I for one won't give up
My children, I love you
It's been four and six years now
That you have been in my life
Yet with all this time away
I've put you through a lot of strife.
The life I chose to live
took a lot of our special time
I'll have you know I've watched you grow
your always on my mind
Not a day goes by in my life
That I don't miss you
Waiting for that special day
When I walk out there and see you
I don't get to watch you play softball
I've never seen you play house
I'm not sure of your favorite cartoon
it could be Mickey Mouse
I missed your little hand prints
When did you lose the training wheels?
I have no clue where that scar is from
Did it happen when you feel?
There is still a lifetime ahead of us
So much to do and say
You will always be my babies
No matter what your age
I know you see me as your Father
even through all the tears
It's time for me to be a Daddy
Not lose any more precious years
You see anyone can be a Father
but a Daddy is someone special
You'll always be my babies
I'll be the Daddy you wish for
