Dreams and/or Wishes: My goal is to become a published writer. I hope to have my poems as well as my memoirs that I'm writing published. I wish to further my education majoring in business management and the entertainment field. My dream is to be reunited with my two teenage sons, family, and friends.
A bit about yourself you'd like the pen pals to know: I am currently working on a community project to provide a place that at risk youth can come to resolve conflicts. The concept of this project is that it takes a village to raise a child. The community involvement is necessary and the best example is to lead by example. My passion is writing, music as in R & B, Hip Hop, and old school classics. I am a teacher's aid and my job has given me a deeper respect for teachers. I speak to at risk youth on tour groups. The tours are mostly high school students with the exception of college students. I have taken a course in divinity. Vanderbilt Divinity School offers a course here at the prison. I appeared on the MSNBC show Locked Up at RiverBend. I am people friendly, open minded and a critical thinker.
**Please note that prisoners cannot respond to e-mail via computer so if you want a response you must include your name and mailing address. Inmates do not have access to internet or email.**
